abstract: This paper is the process of a material design and action research that took place in Cartagena, Colombia at the Navy school "ESCUELA NAVAL ALMIRANTE PADILLA". It was developed in three main phases that included, evaluation, design, and implementation of an EAP (English for Academic Purposes) or ESP (English for Specific purposes) material for fully beginner English language learners.
