        abstract = {In today?s modern world, information and communication technologies are playing an active role in increasing the standards and quality of life for the betterment of human beings. Due to these technologies, people are now learning and experiencing new things very effectively and efficiently. With the implementation of information technology (IT)-based smart technologies in music education, learners can learn and create quality music. There is a need for the employment of information technology in music classrooms. Governments and institutions need to provide adequate resources to achieve its implementation. The traditional methods of learning are not capable of providing enough quality education to students. The present study focuses on the crucial role of information technology in the enhancement of music education. The advancements in modern technologies are expanding music education very rapidly and productively. To help learners with the use of an accurate technological method for learning purposes, various features have been identified from the existing literature.
