The purpose is to show why these tools can be useful in current teaching methodologies, and specifically in the teaching of English as a foreign language. Starting from a historical reflection and analysing different methodological trends, it will reveal, among other things, the importance of affectivity in the language classroom, especially the role of motivation. The methodology used for the development of this Didactic Unit will then be presented, including the context in which it was carried out, the materials used and the learning objectives. Finally, the conclusion will assess to what extent gamification has acquired its own space in language teaching and what pedagogical perspectives it may open up in the future. date: 2022-02-24 date_type: published thesis_type: masters thesis_name: other access: close language: en citation: Tesis Materias > Educación Universidad Europea del Atlántico > Docencia > Trabajos finales de Máster Cerrado Inglés The aim of this paper is to present a Didactic Unit that implements the use of ICT and gamification to improve the teaching and learning process.
